Zee Front of Chateau Tiernans

Now for the rustic side of the place. I suppose it's really the back of the
house but since I walk out of the front door to exit, to me it's the front
of the house. Comments under each shot.

Ok, I've just walked out the front door and this is directly across from me, the
entrance into the park.

Through the gate and looking to the left. A NY State landmark, the Old Aqueduct used to
carry water down into the city. The park runs a loooooong way up the county. This is what
I stare at when I go into the guest room.

Through the gate and to the right. The white house with the picket fence is also a registered
state landmark, the aqueduct keeper's house or something. It was donated to Dobbs when
the owner died.

The building on the other side of the park, you can see it's pretty much right across from us
and a bit to the right. This is also the building we lived in that burned pretty much to the ground
in '97. Kind of weird looking out at your old place every day but it makes life
interesting. The building has a tennis court right there and one hell of a view.

Going home. Back through the gate to the house, there's the guest room window.
