The *yawn* Emmy Awards
Something wasn't right with the Emmy Awards this year. As grand as Al Pacino was and as much as I loved seeing Meryl Streep, it just seemed to drag. Billy Crystal wasn't funny this year at all, he seemed scripted and stiff.
And the political crap has always bothered me on both sides. I don't give a fat rat's arse what candidate a celebrity says I should vote for and they're not up there at that podium to give a lesson in politics. Take your friggin' award, do the humble routine and say thanks and get the hell off the stage. It's sad that people actually do care what politicians the stars endorse purely because they're stars. Wake the hell up and try and original thought sometime, sheep-heads.
At least it wasn't all Sex and the City this year, viva la Sopranos all the way! And to counter my above negativity, it was nice to see the Olympic athletes in the audience, although I don't think anyone's eyes moved off Jennie (Jenny?) Finch. Jesus, she's stunning. And a gold medal softball pitcher.. Talk about being young and having the world at your fingertips. Good for her, go Jennie!
Overall, not at all impressed with this year's Emmy Awards.

Feh
I should probably put this in the bitch fest but it's not really a bitch. More like a general feh, as a friend would say. This has been a bad day and here I am twitching at 3:19 and very much twitching by myself.
Not that I have any right to gripe because it's 3:19 and I'm very much twitching by myself but nonetheless. If I can't be honest with myself here then there should be no here.
Today was just an all around general suck-ass day. Nothing big or traumatic besides the USA's heinous loss to Europe in the Ryder Cup. Just an all around day. Nothing wanted to work with the internet. Blogrolling won't roll, tag-board is down, identical installations in two different directories produce two different outcomes, a gotard who for the past week has been completely into himself and sharing of it every chance he gets, it was just a crap day. High stress levels, a bit of blah and admittedly not really in the mood to be twitching very much by myself.
I've been calmer lately, can't actually recall the last time I was in high twitch mode like tonight. I mean, I know people are tired, I understand that. But sometimes you just do things because someone needs you to. I'm not needy, needy bothers me. I don't need often but sometimes I do.
Gahh, look. She is human after all.
So here it is, 3:28 AM and I am twitching very much by myself and nowhere close to sleep. Woo.
I think tomorrow I'm declaring an official day off of life. I'm finally going to watch Haunted Mansion and the Passion of the Christ and sort through a head full of too many thoughts. Luckily, not all are morose.
Feh, I say, FEH.
I'm going to go talk to Claude now.

GAH!
"And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying
Are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It’s a very very
Mad world
Mad world
enlarged in your world
Mad world"

The dreams in which I’m dying
Are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It’s a very very

Mad world"
<-- Steal me!
