Against My Better Judgment, We Are BacK Tonight with the First Airing of Kitternacht!
I really should have waited another week. I have no intro. I have no theme. I have no new icon. I have nothing prepared and my playlist is a big mess of badly tagged songs out of order. Will I let that stop me? No, no I will not.
Let me explain something for those who are new. What I do is not a show. I do not have a well-oiled machine like Darkstar, I do not have a list of things I want to to talk about planned. I do not have music mixes to make you say 'ooooh.' I do not have any of the basic elements that make for a good radio show. You can't say you weren't warned, if it's a good radio show you're looking for then you're in the wrong place.
What I do have are my anger issues, my childlike glee at dropping as many F bombs on your head as I can (all ending in 'en over 'ing because 'en is where it's at). I have new things to talk about like UbaTV.com and old talkshow hosts/friends. I've got ranting to get out of my system on everything from politics to pop culture to food to living with kidney failure and not going insane. I will mock people as I have been known to do, not innocents who I feel a need to bully, these people deserve what they get.
There will be music and dancing and if nothing else you might laugh a few times and I can promise the two hours will go quickly. I just can't promise that you'll take anything away from it besides a few laughs. I am not a show. I am two hours of me talking about stuff and playing music and talking about more stuff. I've officially got 'anger issues' now, I have a hunch they'll peek out during the show.
I hope in a week or so to have my shit together and have an intro, a theme, some commercials, some idea of what I'm doing. I've been gone since January so I'm going to be getting me feet wet the first few weeks. Enjoy what you hear, wait a few weeks to judge me on what you hear. Let's look at this week and next week as warming up and remembering how to entertain people.
