Lately I've found that things I never cared about have suddenly become uber annoying. Not life-impacting or anything but genuinely annoying. Maybe it's a reflection of the chaos my life is in at the moment, who knows.

Here's a few of these annoying things..

**The OC. Come on, is this what TV has become?? This show has no plot, it's all sex and bikinis and I keep looking for David Hasselhof and Pamela Anderson to run out.

**Overweight females who try to compensate for their insecurity with body piercings, the goth look and pink hair. God save the Queen.

**Celebrity worshippers. I think this obsession the country has with Brad and Jen splitting did it for me. Who cares???

**People who have to be right. 'Nuff said.

**The celebration of plastic surgery, a la The Swan and Nip Tuck. It's sad listening to these simpering women so sure their lives will be better if they only look like a model. Develop a personality, honey, it just might help.

**The use of 'u' instead of 'you.' I've always hated it, lately it makes me want to jump off a bridge.. Let the celebration of intentional ignorance commence..

**Speed dating. What the hell is that about.

**Monk. Bring back Sherona, Tony. This new chick is NOT funny.

**Law & Order. Yes, it's true. It was hard enough when Jerry Orbach left but we accepted Dennis Farina and he's not bad. But this new DA is god-awful and her voice is painful. I didn't like Elisabeth Rohm but she deserved better than to the the only ADA fired and turned into a lesbian only in the last episode. Yuck.

**Kirstie Alley shrieking for FETTUCINE and telling me and all the other viewers we're chubby. Mooooooooooooooooo.
