A Request of my Readers

If I can dry my eyes I can type this.

I don't do this often but sometimes it's well worith it.

Please, anyone who reads this post or wanders by this blog. Please take a minute out of your busy Saturday and do something simple that you'll be able to feel good about all day.

Genuine Jim is running a comment campaign. His goal? To pay a buck for every comment left in hopes of raising enough money for a commemorative plaque for his next door neightbour's son who died of a brain tumour. No one should have to go through cancer and when it happens to a child it's even harder to swallow.

For every comment Genuine Jim receives he will be donating one dollar towards the plaque. This is a generous and kind thing to do and I emphatically ask that you go over there and leave a comment and help get this plaque.

Sad. So very sad. Please, take a minute and go leave a comment.

Mamacita is also encouraging readers to leave a comment and it's a nice thing to see like-minded blogs acting in kindness.

I'm seeing a lot of the names I read regularly leaving comments and I want to say thank you. Not necessary to say where you come from but I just wanted to say here that I see the names and now I know why I read you guys every day.
