Assorted Babble
You guys are awesome, thank you.
Quitting smoking is a big thing, it's one of the biggest decisions I've made in a while and I don't kid myself and think it's going to be easy.
But I have the want. The want is what it's all about.
That and the major dental work I'm about to sign my soul away for.
Hey, I wonder if Kelly has had the baby yet.
Please, keep the stories of quitting smoking coming. It really is inspiring.
Thank you.

This seems familiar. Didn’t you talk about this last year during blogathon? Or am I smoking the crack cocain again?
My husband quit not long after his mum died of lung cancer. (She had never smoked a day in her life.) It was hard for him. really hard. he started on the patch and that helped a lot I guess. truthfully, I’ve never smoked so I can’t really say how hard it was. He was a grouchy bastard for several weeks, so I suppose that is a sign.

My dad started smoking when he was 14, finally quitting when he was 63. It can be done. Like you say, if you have the want, which clearly you do. Also the fact that you’re not naive enough to think it’ll be easy will definitely help… have faith and stick with it!

Webkittin, I quit for about 6mths on patches. Unfortunately, I spent Xmas at my parents. Big mistake , all the hard work for nowt. Ironically, my pop gave up smoking about 20 yrs ago after his doc told him he’d be dead in 6 mths if he didn’t.
