Bleh

Today sucks. So far today sucks.

Yesterday was cake, today sucks.

I would trade my soul for a pack of cigs right now. I HAVE a pack of cigs right but now - sitting right here - but I'd rather be cranky and mopey and emotional and volatile than WEAK. Weak weak weak. Giving in to this crap is a sign of weakness.

I really want a cigarette though.

Coughed up some yucky stuff I won't describe but it was foul and I feel foul and the whole effin' world is FOUL.

I think I'm going to curl up on the couch. It's cold in here, it's "23, feels like 10" up here and I've got the window open about 6 inches. It feels good. I like cold, I love cold. Curl up on the couch and be nauseous (even the weed is making me nauseous) and try to let the will win out over the want.

Today sucks and it's only 4:30.

  4. You should know that the foulness is tar and other assorted nasties that you’ve been saving up on your lung lining.  Your lungs, having had a breather, a chance to look about, are saying “What the fuck is this stuff? Get it out!”.  Don’t be afraid to cough it up. You definitely don’t want it in you and you really need to be rid of it.  It’ll go on for a while. Its a good sign, your lungs are starting to recover.

The toxins are starting to get cleaned out.  About 3000 or so very nasty toxins.

Drink lots of water and/or tea.

Hang in there Kitty, it’ll be tough, but you’ll be much better off for it.  We’re here if we can help.

  5. and if like me you do have a weak moment, take
the patch off...I damn near had a heart attack.  You’re
doing way better than me...I have had 3 cigs today :(
Tomorrow I’ll try to have none.

  6. Hang in there. It will get better. I have quit using a number of very addictive substances - nicotine was the toughest. It can be done, just sit on your hands and ride it out. If you slip - do it again tomorrow. You can do it.

  7. Hang in there! Not easy, but worth it. I quit about 16 years ago and it is tough. But you’re tougher!
