Blogathon 2006!

It's heeeEEEeeere!

Blogathon 2006 is upon us!

Look around, you'll see my sidebars are full of Blogathon info and a plea for you to give me your money. The Warbles will stay like this until July 29th when the Blogathon takes place. I'll have a sticky up at some point but I wanted to post this now.

The Blogathon is 24 hours of blogging for a charity. No money is paid to myself or the Blogathon. People signed up blog for 24 hours straight and people sponsor them through pledges. No money is to be paid until after the Blogathon and then it goes right to the charity.

It's been the year of bad health for felines around here so in honour of my always-missed Claudie and the recent patient Bey, I am blogging for the Humane Society of New York. The work they do is amazing and they reached out with open arms after Katrina.

So click on the cute dog over there if you've got a few bucks to spare, no amount is too small. I will add you to my sponsor list (unless you ask to remain off of it) and I'll dedicate one of my Blogathon entries to you and your blog.

If this sound like something you'd be into, sign up and blog for yourself! You can pick your charity and Hell, you're blogging anyway so why not do it for a purpose?

Last year I had a Hell of a time commenting back and forth and making friends. Some of these friendships have evolved into genuine real world friendships. Blogging, helping a good cause AND making new friends? How can you miss.

   I’m trying to get enough pictures of pets to post one with every post but I’m just going to wing it.

   It was such a pisser last year with random people coming by and some of the best posts were ones I never could have planned in advance.
