Checking In!

And here I am again. Woo!

As for me, I'm still going - ovarian issues aside.

I'm supposed to be blogging about classical literature but I've discovered a list of pre-determined topics doesn't always work. Between answering comments and visiting the blogs of others, time is flying.

I will, however, list my favourite books in no sort of order..

Moby Dick (yes, I love Moby Dick and I admit it)
The Great Gatsby
Wuthering Heights
Catcher in the Rye
Any and all Joseph Conrad

My parents sent me to a school that gave us an extensive reading list each Summer, I was one of the nerds who actually enjoyed my reading requirements and went out of my way to read all the books, even the optional ones.

Reading is good, books are your friend.

Now I best post this because my clock says 11:18!

1. Just checking in, you’re doing great. Boy, me and you are chowing down on the junk for sure. Hehe. Me, I’m over here with Sunkist, beef jerky and chips. And I ate waffles and a banana for breakfast! All this sitting around typing makes me hungry. ?!

   I’m having a fantabulous time so far, I hope it doesn’t mean I’m going to crash hard later but for now this is really fun and time is zipping by.

3. We didn’t have any reading lists as such at school. I just read.  And read and read. So much for the typical australian sport fiend.  Give me a cricket bat and I’d rather be under a shady tree with Verne or Dumas or…

4. Gatsby was one of my favorites too.

   I also love Gason Leroux’s Phantom Of the Opera and Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables. It’s my goal to one day read the unabridged version.
