Commercials!

First off, I want to kick that Quizno's baby in the face. I realise this is moderately psychotic and I realise it's not the baby's fault they've attached that idiot voice to him, stick him in stupid clothes and even more stupid surroundings but I can't help it. I want to reach through the television every time I see him and kick him square in the face...

The focal point of this moment of psychosis is, however, this man. Do you know this man?

This is Bob. Bob is happy. Bob has a new spring in life, a bigger swing, some well-earned respect from the neighbour-hood and a grinning wife who sets womankind back 50 years with her gaggling 'ooh my husband has such a large penis and this in itself is enough to make me sooooooo happy I will greet him at the door with iced tea and at the golf club with a mint friggin julep and then we'll go home and he'll GIVE IT TO ME' grin. Hey lady, there is life past the PENIS.

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

And if it's not bad enough, the commercials are short enough that we get two of them in a row. Twice the time to see that gaggling idiot woman, twice the corny innuendos and the smiling Bob.

Bob and the Quizno's baby, making my life a little more Hellish each and every day.

  1. This is Bob.  Bob is of the devil.  Say hello Bob.  (Bob is unable to speak past rictus grin and offers a flacid wave).

Bob is addicted to penile enhancing medications.  Bob can barely think because all the blood that usually reaches the brain has been trapped in his penis for that past 6 hours.

Bob is now brain dead.  Bob still doesn’t know that yet.  Say goodbye, Bob.  (Bob continues to wave flacidly with a rictus grin).

    *I hate that commercial*

  2. The baby is only slightly less creepy than the Spunge Monkeys were.

Just passing through and trying to stay awake for another seven hours! Good luck!

  4. Anyone else find “The King” from Burger King kind of creepy.....and I think there is a bobble head figure of him, MINE!

  5. Funniest one I ever saw was the Burger King King vs. Darth Vader in a “breathe off”.

  6. How is that even remotely qualify as funny.  He clearly has no gaps in his teeth, his nose is plugged up, how could he possibly make any breathing noises.

  7. The Burger King king...gahh.

I think anything with an oversized head is freaky.  Babies included (no comments about Bob having a big head).  The Burger King king reminds me of that scene in Beyond Thunderdome where Mad Max spins “gulag” on the wheel and they tie him up to the horse and put that big carnival head on him and send him out into the desert.  I saw that when i was a kid and it bugged me out.  I also have an adversion to oversized clown heads for the same reason, though those are just creepy in general.

  8. I think the little puppets from Quizno’s were more scary.

    “GET QUIZNO’S SUBS!!!”

I think I’m scarred for life.

  9. Yes...the Sponge Monkeys. Thats what we were talking about up a few comments. THOSE were the creepy...things that no one knows what they are.

The look like Gerbils mutated into singing potatoes with sombreros and human mouths.

  10. ok… I loved the Sponge Monkeys (although I wasn’t aware that’s what you call them!).  I have a link, somewhere, of the original creators and have watched the “We love the moon” clip too many times to count.

You have to love the moon.  And forks. Heh.

  13. Every time I check in - which is often, as I check everyone more then once every half hour, I need SOMETHING to keep me awake - I want to rip that guy’s head off, with that smile. There’s just something about him…

  15. There is, there is!

Maybe not after blogging for 19 and a half hours but usually yes, there is!

  16. Alrightie I have to put my 2 pennies in on this bloggie thingie. I think the quiznos baby is cute, he looks like my nephew Jack.  However the mouth thing is rather un-nerving.. The monkey sponges as you call them were just scary as hell.  I had no idea they were monkeys and whomever said they looked like mutated gerbils was pretty right because thats what I thought they were..  Now as for the Burger King bobble head guy. He is really creepy.. I think I’d be kinda freaked out if he was standin in my window with a hamburger.  Might end up gettin that head knocked off..
Bob the erection guy cracks me up.  Can you imagine the shit that man must have to deal with in real life? lol.. I love hoe in the end they always add an erection that lasts longer than 6 hours should be seen by a doctor..Isn’t that the purpose? Unreal....
