Day After Bleh
I hate the day after a major holiday. Hate.
It's anti-climactic and depressing.
Bleh, I say. Bleh.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a good day after Christmas.

I like to take all the presents that I wasn’t particularly fond of (this year only two, mittens which I won’t wear and a winter hat so thick it’s like fruitcake) and bring them to Goodwill. The stuff I like, I get rid of the things that the gift will be replacing and those things also go to Goodwill. It’s making sure that I start the year with the same amount of stuff as I started with. I like it that way. No waste here, I’m a green bunny.
I couldn’t be by my friends for Christmas, so today we all loaded up in our pajamas and headed to the Waffle House for eggs, bacon, and waffles. It was odd being in public in my pjs for a while, but it was like redoing Christmas with my friends. We had a wonderful time and laughed a lot. We exchanged gifts too. I love making traditions up as I go along. It makes for interesting times.

Chocolate makers advise to check for expiration dates. Chocolate has about a year’s shelf life. Still, many stores don’t enforce expiration dates, so it’s up to you. If the chocolate is sub-standard, take it back and demand a refund.
