Death Hits Home

My best friend is dead.

My muse that mews is dead.

My companion and sharer of a decade's worth of life and secrets is dead.

He came out of the anesthesia and went into cardiac arrest.

And now my best friend is dead.

It has yet to hit me.

I want my Claudie back.
