Easy?
Had some minor discussion last night about what's easy and what isn't and taking the easy route to do things.
Easy is giving control of your life over to someone else and letting them call the shots and essentially be there to blame as well.
Easy is sticking in a comfort zone rather than being true.
Easy is telling people what they want to hear instead of what's real to avoid conflict.
Easy is never taking a risk.
Easy is the selling out of the self to get something for the self.
Easy is believing what you're told even though you know it isn't true because it's what you want to hear.
Easy is lying to the self.
Easy is saying "I can't."
Easy is deceptive.
Easy is what kills respect.
Easy is weak.
Easy is what the majority chooses.
Easy is bad.

Amen, my sista.
The rugged road of life teaches more lessons, develops more character, and makes us more able to survive more issues.

Easy, in the end, isn’t.

Anyone can do what’s easy and twist what is to make it seem difficult. People are selfish by nature and it’s a rare individual who chooses the difficult route over what is easy.
Don’t lose faith, Kittyn. There are people out there who would rather endure suffering and learn from it than sell out ‘the self’ as you put it. What you need to do is remove yourself from the sellouts and return to the rest of us.
