Hello, My Name is Kali and I Am A Dullard

So I hear tell my MUD is 'boring' because it isn't RP enforced.

I could go off on a serious rant here, I could say a lot of things here. They would of course completely violate my fatwa on mean. I've owned the thing for 7 years, I've seen quite a bit and Hell, I was playing D&D when it first came out and horrified parents all over.

Personally, I find RP enforced games boring as hell. I'm an adult, I don't need to be told I 'must' RP or get in trouble. If I'm looking for some RP and I can't see any, I don't sit on my duff and wait for it to come to me. I will get off my dear duff and either go make some myself or find someone who's looking and get with that.

But that's just me.

My apologies to for running such a 'boring' game. Much better to be in a forced situation where everyone does the same shit and pretends to be good/evil, spellcaster/bard, tortured soul/creature of the night, priest/holy person, etc.

To each his or her own, I am in full accordance with that. It's when the 'RP snobs' (as I've come to call them after all these years) get on their horses and call other games 'boring.' Nothing can be not for them without insulting it.

I'm going now, I fully intend to maintain my fatwa.

Guess I'll go bore some people now.
