Hello, Twenty-Two
A friend and I stopped talking around this time last year. Wow, it was right around this time. Trippy.
I've missed this friend a great deal. This person was one who got past the gate-guards and we shared some magic.
Circumstance didn't play well and for a few assorted reasons this friend and I stopped talking. Completely. Not a casual drifting, a sudden and complete break off. It bothered me more than I let on, I wrote about it here and there throughout the Warbles.
Time moved forward and did its mojo and the other night this friend and I talked a bit. It was wonderful and I wanted to scream out "YES" really loud but it was late. I don't miss many when things separate, I missed this one.
I know my friend will read this, I know my friend will know I write of him and I know it will make him smile. A lot has changed over the year. Much is as it was but much is different. How glad it makes me feel to see you around again and to talk with you. The ice will melt, it's been a while and it broke off badly. There is caution and ice but they both melt quickly.
Thank you for keeping me somewhere in your mind and your memories this past year.
