I Would Eat There Just Because of the Commercial
My parents live up in the sticks. One advantage to living in the sticks is that they get both the east coast and the west coast versions of the 4 major networks. I get a kick out of California news, it's completely different than suburban NY news.
I was watching something on NBC west the other night when I saw this commercial that had me on the floor laughing my arse off. It was a guy and a cow and he was what I later found out was shaking the cow but I swear it looked like he was getting jiggy with the cow's side.
I watched and giggled for the duration and then the ad part came on. It was a milkshake commercial for Carl's Jr! Get it? Milk, shaking the cow, milkshake. Ok, quiet. I thought it was hysterical.
What a brilliant commercial, this one made me want to run to Carl's Jr a whole lot faster than Paris Hilton and her cheeseburger. This was really funny stuff. I haven't seen it again since that one time but I hope I do.
This stuff works, I know me. If we had a Carl's Jr. here I would have gone right to them after seeing that.
Shake the cow. heh.

I saw the commercial on Google Video. It is simply hilarious. I think I’m going to have to stop tomorrow on the way home from work. THere’s one less than a mile from me as I lay here in bed. *flaunts his fast food joint*

There’s no CJs in Canada (I think it’s coming soon?), but I have fond
memories of it from a trip to San Francisco. I was there for the Alcan
dragonboat festival, and we’d just travelled for 8 hours and were
absolutely famished. Carl’s was right across the street from our hotel,

Trust me, when you see that commercial a couple times a day, it stops being amusing and becomes verrrrry annoying. I keep telling my kid, though, that’ll be his first TV acting job. the guy who looks like he’s humping the cow…
