I’m Back
I'm home from the hospital now.
After:
eight weeks
13 roommates
4 surgeries
50 stitches
3 MRIs
3 CAT Scans
56 meals accompanied by tasteless rice and gravy
and a whole lot more, I am home. My first day alone in 8 weeks.
What a trip.

If you’ve ever had a prayer answered, mine was. I called your hospital number and they told me you’d gotten paroled. Well they didn’t say that, but with as long as you were in there, I’m sure it felt like that. Know that my prayers and those of my friends will continue for you while you adjust. You’re always in my heart and never far from my thoughts.
I love you so much. I’m so glad to know that you’re back where you belong. How was the...*cough*ssssss*cough* homecoming? Any good? As well as remembered?
With love and affection,
Mare.
