I’m Still Here!

I haven't written anything in a while. It's been a strange couple of weeks, I started writing a bunch of times and when I would go read it back it read like crap. Lots of self pity and too much thinking and a lot of stupid shit. I don't write for anyone else but if I start to bore myself it's time to stop.

I've spent a lot of time lately reading over where I was last year at this time and I think it snapped me out of the funk. It was the start of the downfall last year, I was riding a horrible wave and while this year may be full of car problems and a harsh economy it's a million times better than last year.

I've even gotten some of the Christmas spirit back that I had and lost. Woo for the little things, ya know?

It's been rough physically, the daily throwing up is pretty bad and I'm so damn weak all the time, I have a feeling he's going to send me for another transfusion when I go to him on the 18th. It's been a few months now since the last Epo shot and I'm feeling it. I've got a full bloodwork scheduled for next week and then we'll see where it goes from there, how the creatinine is and all the rest of it. If it's bad news he can wait until after Christmas to tell me, I'm determined to have a good Christmas this year.

One big positive this holiday season, I'm positively surrounded by some really amazing people. Some people go through their whole lives not having anyone close to them, no one they can tell all to and trust with the real secrets. I've got four of these people in my life full time and it's really nice to feel so completely cared about and at ease with people. They know who they are.

Blogrolling.com is still not functioning, my blogroll is in desperate need to editing and there are a few blogs I really want to add so let's hope they get it working soon. I never realised how much I counted on that place.

Leverage starts tomorrow, I've been looking forward to it. It can't suck, nothing with Timothy Hutton could possibly suck. Add to this Mr. Hutton's complete and total sex appeal and dashing good looks and it's all win. I like it already, which means it will be canned after 4 or 5 episodes like Kidnapped.

This is such a strange time of year, people come around you haven't heard from in forever and maybe it's me but people seem to just be nicer. Maybe with things like Mumbai and the recession going on people are finally starting to get that like it or not we're all in this shit together so we might as well not make it worse.

I watched the Secret Millionaire Wednesday night and cried like a baby the whole two hours. I love stuff like that, I love these people.

More on the holidays later, for now I'll just leave off with a picture that shows exactly how stunning Timothy Hutton still is. Yum, she drooled.
