I’m Still Pissed
Usually venting helps. It's not helping this time.
I'm curious what MT considers a 'personal endeavor' if not this.
Just for shits and giggles, here's the breakdown of BoRCom and finance.
Monthly server cost: $190.00 - monthly
Initial Domain Registations: $35.00 x 4 (this was before I learned Go Daddy had low prices) - One time
Domain Renewals: $35.00 x 4 - Annually, twice so far
MT Costs: Two installs at $50 or so each, I don't recall, four unlimited personal licenses, one upgrade from 2 to 3.
Blogrolling: $25.00 annually so I can offer people a blogroll
Money charged for blogs: Zero
Money charged for space on server for blog: Zero
Money charged for setup of blog: Zero
Money made to cover costs from blogs: Zero
Money made, period: Zero

http://www.wordpress.org - great blog software, can migrate MT entries over if you export them out of MT first.
http://www.godaddy.com - I know you know of it, but you can transfer your domain over, unless there’s a problem with network solutions you didn’t detail here.
http://www.dreamhost.com - my host for the past four months, great peeps, huge stuff for a teeny price, auto-installation of Wordpress, as many installations as you want, no limit on use. The crew is about 28 people, small company, HUGELY committed to good customer service, me happies after escaping a formerly good company that turned evil much like MT did.
I just wanted to share. Perhaps any and all of my suggestions don’t apply, which is fine, just wanted to share anyway. Take care, and get the heck out of MT, they’ve turned into an evil entity!

You know that if there is anything - ANYthing - I can do, all you have to do is ask. This is crap all around and it’s ridiculous that you have to swallow it. *hug*

That $190 a month… That eaquals $2280 a year to provide a service for others out of the goodness of your heart.... For all this grief, is it at least tax deductible?
