Keeping the Word

I'm trying not to let my twisted mind pull me into dark places with Claude, I'm trying to be calm. Many thanks to Katkat, YummY, Kel and James for knowing how much this is eating at me and taking the time to comment. Thank you, guys.

One of the parts of this year's game plan was to find something to smile about every day, no matter what sort of mood I'm in.

It's January 10th. So far this year I've smiled at:

**Making finalist for Biggest Blog Whore with the BoBs even after making a righteous ass out of myself
**Being able to spend a month with my parents
**A new and sparkly bathroom
**Being and Adorable Little Rodent again on TTLB
**The new taillight DS put on my car without my asking him to
**An oven that works after 5 months of microwaved meals
**Templeton and Claude
**New flannel sheets and new 300 thread count sheets
**Bread pudding
**Hook rugs

   I found a lump on one of my rats today, so I’m literally right there with you.

3. I think you have a really terrific attitude there, WK. I know I’d be really down if anything happened to my Freja, so I admire your outlook. Be strong, WebKittyn.

4. I didn’t see my parents from Feb. of last year
   until November, being up here is the only
   thing keeping my calm.

   Monday when I get home I’ll be a wreck and when
   he does to the vet Tuesday for the biopsy I’ll
   be a bawling mess all day.  For now though
   the bravado is in full force but it is just
   that - bravado.  Every time I pet him I tear
   up.

5. I’ve been sick and thus not blogging much, so just read about Claude. Oh, man.  Worthless Pet almost died last May and after spending $1250 on his health, that I can ill afford, he’s been better. But I’m a nut when it comes to pets and I so feel for you. Poor Claude. I’m hoping this biopsy comes back benign and he gives you another 9 years of love and head butts.

   And congrats on the BOB finalist thing!
