La Familia

I just got off the phone with my folks. Maybe it's the wonky taking over but it made me sad when I hung up.

I was supposed to be up there by now. Now here in Suburbia with the trendoids I want to kick.

Not that I won't get up there but I don't have forever and I've wasted a shitload of time. I waste time well. It really needs to stop.

Ah. Those wonk-induced Blogathon epiphanies. I could sit here and make a really long list of shit I've wasted time on in the past 2 years and it would take me until the end of the Blogathon to finish it.

I'm really tired of wasting time.

There's a line from Pippin, "Oh, it's time to start livin', time to take a little from the world we live in.. Time to take time 'cause Spring'll turn to Fall... in just no time at all.."

Why do I remember that? Because I'm dating myself and we did that play in Riverdale.

It makes sense though. I really need to stop wasting time.

This is not wasting time. This Blogathon is a good use of time and I'm glad I'm doing it. My permanent blogroll is going to grow a lot by the time this is over, I'm blown away by the people I'm running into.

It's just time to stop wasting time before I run out of time.
