Migraine?

Anyone know anything about migraines? How do you tell a migraine from a normal tension headache?

More tomorrow, can't hardly see straight.

I have headaches often, and occasional migraines. Not fun. They come with sensitivity to light, sound and touch and mild to extreme nausea.

I can always tell when I’m going to get a REALLY bad one because I will go blind about 15 minutes before it strikes. My vision fills up with little black spots so that I can’t see anything but them, and around 10 to 15 minutes after that happens.....-shudder-

I hope your headache, whether its a migraine or tension, goes away soon.

With a migraine, you’re much more sensitive to light and sound. Basically, every little noise sounds like a brass band parked inside your head and any bright lights make you suddenly want to become a sunglasses-wearing vampire.

Also, if you’re one of the special people that see an “aura” before you get a migraine, you can look forward to freaking out because you think you’re suddenly going blind. Yay! Excedrine Migraine sometimes works, if you’re looking for something OTC.

Migraines suck ass. Thankfully, I only get about 2-3 a year.
