Monk

We put on this week's episode of Monk, hadn't watched it yet. I'm sorry we did.

There aren't many shows on television I really enjoy, if it wasn't for Law & Order I'd never leave Fox News or the other news channels. There are a few I enjoy but it's Summer and Summer shows tend to .. well, suck.

Monk and the Dead Zone have been my Summer saving graces and the Dead Zone went through a rough time in season 2 but they've pulled it together. Wish I could say the same for Monk.

Tony Shalhoub is brilliant, he plays Monk perfectly and without overdoing the corn. Ted Levine is also superb (even though I still want to dance around and say "I'd fuck me" like he did in Silence of the Lambs every time I see him). What's wrong, then?

Natalie. She of the squeaky voice and mousy looks and absolutely zero presence.

I want Sharona, bring back Sharona. Sharona was a strong character and Bitty Schram played her flawlessly. I loved the chemistry between the two characters and it made Monk a show I looked forward to every week. Not any more.

GAHHH! She's singing and dancing. Quiet, you squeaky frumpy shrew!

This is painful, why did they get rid of Sharona and why do people insist on fixing what isn't bloody broken?!?!?

Monk has lost one devoted fan.

Blehhhhhhhhh. Make it go away, mommy.

   Now as for Monk.  I used to love that show.  I now watch it as a form of noise but now as I used to when he had Sharona.  I really hope that Natalie and Monk do not hook up.  She is not the type of person I see him with.. Bring back the Woman who worked for the electic company I liked her..She was perfect for him…
