New Year’s Eve on KMRL with Kittyn and Way Too Much Sangria!

Happy New Year to you!

I'm still upstate, it's a quiet New Year's eve in the country with the parents this year. So I got to thinking of what I could do to celebrate a little bit and I came up with possibly the dumbest idea I've had in a long long time:

Make way too much sangria, start drinking at 11:00PM EST, go on the air at 12:01AM EST and stay on the air for six hours celebrating as it turns 2007 in all the time zones with more sangria!

Huzzah!

The sangria was made last night and the fruit has been soaking up the wine. The fridge smells like a fruity wino has been living in it and I'm ready to go.

The chat room will of course be open for the duration so come on by and say hello! Come by before you go out, come by after you get home, come by if you're not going out! Share your stories of New Year's Eves gone by, your hopes and resolutions for the new year and listen to me as I get drunk and stupid!

Will I last the full 6 hours? Only the sangria knows but I'm going to give it my best.

So don't spend the night alone, it's perfectly alright not to go out on New Year's Eve! Come get the end of the year Mojo and share it with me. I've got cookies and (too) much sangria!

2. I have to say that I had a blast. I got to stay up for the whole thing and the tipsy kittyn is as much fun as she is sober. (Not to say the cainine was walking entirely straight that night). Maybe we’ve stumbled on a tradition!
