Oy Vey!

My mother's side of the family is Jewish, my grandmother was the classic stereotype of the tiny little Jewish grandmother.

She loved to cook, she would make the most amazing matzoh ball soup and all the good stuff.

However, in her entire life I don't think she ever made anything that looked like the picture below. While the idea is nice, the end result is really obscene looking.

I'm sorry nothing like this ever turned up on our table, it would have made for some wonderful colourful commentary.

It's not just me, this is obscene looking.
