Seabiscuit

Yes, I can try to be impartial even though I have a strong Jeff Bridges fetish. *grins* I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how stunning he looked in this movie, the man is so goodlooking.. He is what Christian Bale will look like when he gets older. Very tasty.

That said, the movie. What can I say, what's not to like about an inspirational true story with eccentric characters and a horse?

I had read the book before I saw the movie and both were equally wonderful. Well acted and sentimental, Toby Maguire was fantastic even if he does look ridiculous with red hair.

The movie brought tears to me eyes and even though I knew the outcome I was rooting "GO SEABISCUIT" in my head during the race scenes. It wasn't corny, it wasn't hokey, it was just good.

Yes, sometimes the eccentric and the underdogs can win. It's a nice thing to be reminded of.
