Something New for Me

I like new things. They make take me a bit of time to figure out but I like new things.

I also love discovering new blogs and making new connections and links and giving myself more to read during the deepest hours of the night.

This is my first post with the OTA and I wish I had something more substantial to write about but frankly, trackbacks still confuzzle me so I'll figure it out as I go along. So much to learn, as soon as I think I've got a handle on it I discover I'm utterly clueless.

Please, if anyone passing by here is a trackback guru, feel free to leave a quick trackback 101 for the feeble. I catch on pretty quick most of the time.

For now, I'm going to plod on and point out some better blogs than my own who have this trackback thing down pat.

Open Trackbacks Weekend. Samantha Burns is a role model of how to run a well connected site. Major kudos.
Don Surber: Law Profs Flunk Their Constitution Test. Don is an interesting thinker with strong opinions and I agree with this post all the way.
The Conservative Cat is brilliant, how could you not love "Chariman Meow?" He point out some of the funny places on the net, we all need to laugh more.
The Pirate King has a great font and wit and although a recent discovery, one I'll go back to read often.
Those Bastards has a truly brilliant statement on the A-List of bloggers and his analogy to talkradio could only have come from someone with the know. Where has this blog been all my life?
The Sinner invites people to trackback and offers links with trackback info for people like myself. I also like the breakdown with the sins, another new and worthwhile read.
The Uncooperative Blogger turns out to be a non-partisan presenter of the news and he has a ton of links with info. I particularly liked this post as he gave resources I couldn't find before.

Alright, this is my first attempt and we'll see how it goes.
