Take Two

For those of you who followed my 10 weeks on the patch..

I made it 120 days and blew it when things got rough at home. I caved to the pressure like a true weakass lamer and was smoking again.

I hated the way I felt.

I had a cough that I never had before, I guess I had done some healing on my lungs and then all of a sudden it was back to the nasty nicotine.

The more discouraged and pissed I got at myself the more I smoked. I smoked two packs of True 100's Tuesday, beating the mental shit out of myself the whole time.

I finally decided I couldn't take feeling so crappy and Wednesday night put a new patch on, determined to start over.

The patch fell off this morning in the shower around 8:15. I've been sitting here since 8:30 without a patch and I am happy and proud and thrilled to say there is absolutely no craving for a cigarette. None.

Maybe I'm on the right track this time. I hope.

Here we go again!

  1. You can do it Kittyn. It is hard to do, but it can be done - I know. I am now at four days, four months and one year tobacco-free. But it took me many attempts - you know, I told you all this before. Don’t kick yourself, just get up, dust yourself off and kick tobacco’s ASS.
