The Zen of Golf

Enough whining about ovaries, I have 23 hours more to whine about ovaries.

I want to touch on golf for a moment. Most of my friends on the MUD and such are not into golf, I sort of drive them crazy with my golf obsession but that's okay. I love golf.

I have never actually played a game of golf and I never used to like golf but at some point while visiting my parents I got into golf. I've always liked Tiger Woods, I think he is a true role-model for dedication and commitment, but I was never much into sitting and watching golf.

To me, sitting and watching golf is a Zen sort of thing, it's amazingly relaxing and I've gotten to know most of the PGA golfers enough to cheer some on. Everyone knows Tiger, it's nice to root for the unknowns as well.

I'm going to try and get out there for the PGA, it's in Jersey not too far away. That would be awesome.

And luckily for me, there is golf on today. No Tiger but we've got Phil and a few others. Works for me.

FORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE!

  1. The thing about golf is that its only relaxing if you’re good at it, if not its completely the opposite, infuriating, stressful and annoying.  I’ve never understood golf myself, and have only played once or twice, unless you count mini-putt.  My biggest problem with golf is the ball to court ratio, when you have a tiny ball, and a huge course to play on, it just doesn’t make sense to me.  But lots of people love the game so more power to them.
