They’re Here!

The monitor and the mic are on their way back here now. They should be here any minute.

The question is - how long will I last before I start tearing this room apart? This monitor blocks the AC in the window, the one with the side stuff that came loose leaving a 3 inch open space in the window that makes this room colder than a welldigger's ass. I remember last year I was sitting here warbling and watching this mini snow drift pile up on the window sill inside. I love the cold but even I have my limits and with a ConEd bill into 4 digitis already (to the left of the decimal point alone), closing this gap will do wonders.

(hey, more inside) This is a blig clunky monitor, 19 inces and 17 viewable and big. Clear it off, move it to the other desk for Gotard and get the new one set up.

Tonight, Radio Free Kittyn's Practise Playground will practise live on the new mic.

In other news, the bone they use in the graft for implants comes from cadavers. I learned that today. I have a sick, warped, diseased mind because I find that oddly creepy-cool.

Cadaver Bone. Ok, now say it with me but say it like it's the muppets singing "ma na ma na"

"Ca da ver bone (doo doo doo doo-doo), Ca da ver bone (doo doo do doo)"

yep yep.

  1. Yup. And Dermalogen, Alloderm, Apligraf and a host of other lip augmentation materials are made from ground up dead people too.

A new lease on life or zombie lips.
