Today is a Good Day

I woke up this morning to the most glorious thing I could have seen.

Marauding Marsupial on TTLB. My burning desire to be a wallaby has been achieved. There are no words to clearly explain my joy but there is joy. I know there are higher forms of life than marsupial but I'm content. I'll never be one of the 'big guys' and that's purrfectly fine with me, I dreamed of marsupialhood and I made it. Hello wallaby, my name is Kittyn and I'll be living in your tree now. Move over.

The really nifty thing about it is I didn't just go and join a bunch of circles to boost rank. I followed the lead of the wise and successful Samantha Burns and applied for membership to an alliance or two. I've actually put a lot of time into reading the blogs in the alliances and it's like a whole different world. These are some thought-provoking and intelligent blogs here. I disagree with a lot of what I read but I've seen open-mindedness and willingness to listen to opposing views and engage in bloggy discourse. It floors me, I sit here and look at the Warbles and wonder how long it'll be before these beings discover my blog is a mix of some good content and a whole lotta hooey and boot my arse to the curb.

But for now I am - dare I say it - happy. Content. Wallaby. Marsupial.
