Up for the Challenge? I’m Out of Practise. Blow Me.

Such hostility in the title, I know. I just love the way it sounds to say 'blow me' to someone. It's vulgar but not over the top and it amuses me. Also sort of fits in.

I was talking with a friend tonight who hasn't made me the happiest person alive lately. Sometimes people forget friendship and trust run two ways and sometimes feelings get hurt. That's not the point though. We were talking about the many websites I should be working on but have managed to ignore for a long time. Long time.

Things have changed since I last did any major site work. It's all about inter-connectivity now between mobile stuff and social networks. It's not enough to have a blog, the blog has to post to Twitter, Facebook and MySpace all at the same time too. Oy. Of course I see the benefits but yowsa, we've come a long way baby. I still remember my first website for the MUD with the animated clipart all over the place and oh, how I thought I was the Geek Queen in spiked heels.

Yah. No more. I'm rusty as shit.

Right now I've been working with connecting the station. The blog posts to twitter which posts to facebook so I've got that. That's about it.

People should be able to use their facebook login to get into chat, I have to add that and I have no clue how.

It's going to be a challenge if I actually take the time to figure out how to do all this crap and I'm not going to bust my ass and put the sort of insane commitment into problem solving that I do for people who hurt my feelings or make me feel small.

And I thought learning to work a .css page was a coup. HA! Coup this, biatch.

Am I up for the challenge for multiple sites? Only the kidney knows.
