Violence Begets Violence.
People capable of taking a school and randomly killing off young children, infants and then wiring traps and mines to the gym where many hostages are held are not people. They are a scourge and massive and serious retaliation is the only answer. Time to not worry about being compassionate and wipe out Chechnya.
All lines were crossed and destroyed, I wish the Russians a speedy and successful retaliation.

Hopefully they do not take a blanket approach, as in Israel, where all Chechens are considered guilty or suspect because of the radicalism of some.
I cannot speak entirely upon the issue as I do not fully understand the root of their respective points… all I believe is this. If you want to start a “revolution” you don’t target children (purposely). An act of terror is not the act of liberation or defiance, it is an act of cowardice and blackmail.
I hope they root the responsible leadership out and shoot them… better yet, turn them over to the parents.
These people make me sick.

I don’t know, I feel like it’s different with this. I really do think it *is* pretty much all of chechnya and sometimes a blanket response is the only way to do things.
Hey, I sound like a Republican!

I’m not so sure - do you really trust the Russian government? Sure, there was no justification for the terrorism against civilians, especially kids, and I believe the Chechen terrorists should be dealt with viciously and without remorse; but the Russian government may not have clean hands in this whole mess…
