What I Swore I’d Never Do

Yesterday I did something I swore I would never do. Repeatedly swore I would never do.

I made a MySpace page for the station. I'm weak, I gave in.

So go friend the station page if you're on MySpace, seems the entire world is on MySpace.

In other news, the trip upstate is once again put off a week. Yes, I could do what needs to be done from up there but who wants to? The whole point of going up there is to commune with nature and not worry about the craploads of things I should be doing. Better to suck it up and spend a week with my nose buried in work and then go up there and just hang out by the pond. This is the pond:




It's amazingly refreshing to the soul to sit down by the pond with the leaves changing and listen to the fish splosh around while reading a good book. So as much as it pisses me off that I let myself get so far behind, I know I have an escape coming soon.

At least I'm getting stuff done today. I've listened to 'That was a Crazy Game of Poker' three times so far and yes, it's an 8 minute song. I don't know what the Hell it is with that song but it makes me happy. It makes me laugh and helps me get stuff done.

   I’m ashamed to admit that I use MySpace..but only to promote the station and the blogathon. And people say OH, so many old friends have found me!
   Yeah.

4. The pond is gorgeous, we are talking about getting one for our yard possibly as well.  Very serene and calm.  Well stocked with aquatic fauna for leisure fishing?  How long does it take your parents to mow their yard, I bet they have a tractor.
