Where’s Stephen King?
I've been sitting here looking out the window for the past hour, watching first the Hudson River and then the house at the bottom of the hill disappear. New Jersey is also gone, it went before the river.
It's like King's novella The Mist, the sky is dark and the fog is spreading fast.
I love it.
We get some wicked fog up here and since I'm on top of the mountain it's really something to see. I love dark rainy weather, it revitalises me and centers my mind.
They say major thunderstorms are coming, that would only make it even more glorious. This is the purrfect weather for working on a site or two or cleaning or thinking. It's raining pretty hard right now.
Plus there's golf later with Tiger doing well and Phil mucking it up.
Hey, it's Free for All Friday over at Luka's which means she's letting random crazy people (like me!) leave posts on her blog. Fun stuff, as always!
Can you believe school has already started for many people? Looks like I survived another horrid Summer.
Woo!

Fog’s my favorite...especially in the cool of the evening and it is so thick and everything looks and sounds so soft and muffled.

King’s “The Mist” is a great story! Everytime the fog begins
to obscure the East Bay hills, i think, holy shit, i’d better get to
a grocery store fast!malfouka on 08/25 at 04:19 PM -
I enjoyed most “The Shining”. The movie with Nicholson is absolutely great.
