Counter Measures
In a conscious attempt to undo the mean and the damage of the mean I'm going to catch up on this, I'm way behind.
A Smile A Day in 2007:
January:
29 - Roast beef and provolone sammiches on rye with mayo
30 - Amazon.com and its cheap prices
31 - A tall glass of really cold water
February:
01 - Making a friend smile
02 - Repeats of Profiler at 3 AM on Sleuth Channel
03 - Arby's Jamocha shakes
04 - The Himalaya
05 - A game on Misfotopia called Winter Bells
06 - Claude LeMew
07 - Smoking the last cigarette
08 - Making it 24 hours without a cigarette
09 - The support network I've found in my friends, online and off
10 - A friend coming to visit on a mission of mercy
11 - Fun-Dip (with the two candies and 3 types of dip per pack)
12 - Big fat bags of green goodness
13 - Pink roses
14 - Chocolate and men who get that no matter what she says, chocolate is required
15 - The box of chocolate from Templeton
16 - A quiet sunrise when it's cold with the window open and a mug of hot cocoa
17 - Replenishing the pile of books to be read
18 - Passing one week and then 10 days without smoking
19 - My birthday in a month
20 - Seeing even small bits of money go into the Everest fund
21 - Two weeks without smoking
22 - Late night turkey, muenster, Lay's BBQ potato chip sammiches on rye with mayo
23 - Blazin' Buffalo and Ranch Doritos
24 - Making a quiche and chocolate chip cookies with my mother
25 - Knowing there are more books on mountaineering in the mail
26 - Moving on to my second box of patches
27 - Meathe, Bobby M, Batman, Kel, Tony. Thank you for the email and for caring
28 - Three weeks without a cigarette
