...but I can't go back there..
Talk about strange and obscure songs that touched a part of my soul 30 years ago when I first heard them and still touch that same part of my soul (what's left of it).
It really is a silly goofy song, classic 70's love drama but it freaked me out when I was a kid. Here's thie guy singing to the woman he loves about why he killed the man he killed for her and how he wishes he could see her one more time and the end where the cops start firing. The gunshots scared the shit out of me the first few times I heard it, I guess I thought someone was really getting killed. Yah yah, I was young.
It's all about the music today, it's exactly what the doctor ordered.
