Touching
We got a condolence card from the vet yesterday. A special pet condolence card.
It was a small gesture but I thought it was the kindest thing anyone has done for me in a long time. They're a busy place, I know they don't send them to all pets that die. That made it even more special.
I cried. I cry a lot these days. It wasn't the same intensity of gut-wrenching cry though.
We also got his remains yesterday, I'll take a picture as soon as I can take it out of the box it came in for more than a minute (the urn, not the remains). It's beautiful, even nicer than I thought it would be. I think I worded it wrong in the other entry. It doesn't make me happy to have his remains in an urn but it makes me happy to have the urn back here with me. He's home.
I want to say thanks again for all the support and caring I got from people reading. Helped more than you know. Thank you.
